Is-sinjal għall AFRIKA T’ISFEL għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn bil-pala tħares ’il barra u tinżel ftit l-isfel. (ii) Imbagħad l-id tinfetaħ forma ta’ 5 kemm kemm ikkurvata u l-id iddur ftit l-ewwel lejn il-ġenb imbagħad ’l isfel waqt li l-id tingħalaq u l-ponot tas- swaba’ jiltaqgħu.
Ġieli, minflok, isir is-sinjal għal ISFEL wara s-sinjal għal AFRIKA, jiġifieri, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 iħares ’l isfel u l-id timxi f’linja dritta ’l isfel. Is-sinjali għal ISFEL ikomplu mill-ewwel wara s-sinjal għal AFRIKA bħal kontinwazzjoni ta’ l-istess sinjal.
The sign for SOUTH AFRICA has two parts. First, one hand takes the shape of a fist with palm facing outwards, and moves down a little. Then the hand opens in the shape of very slightly curved 5 and the hand rotates a little, first towards the side and then downwards whilst the hand closes so that the fingertips touch.
Alternatively, the sign for DOWN is made after the sign for AFRICA, that is, one hand takes the shape of 1 turned downwards and moves in a straight line downwards. The sign for DOWN follows that for AFRICA immediately as a continuation of the same sign.
